Hey friends!! This week (starting yesterday, October 5th) marks the first ever Wallpaper Week! Exciting right? I think so!! Wallpaper has come SUCH a long way since the 1970’s and Graham & Brown shows us just how gorgeous wallpaper can be. It has made a BIG come back in Interior Design and I just love all of the moods you can create in your home by choosing the right wallpaper.
Houseologie is a brand ambassador for Graham & Brown, which means we regularly post for them. This is a sponsored post, but as always all thoughts and opinions are my own. You can read my full disclosure policy here. This post may also contain affiliate links.
I’m going to share several of my favorite wallpaper selections from Graham & Brown that create my favorite feeling in a home, and that is CALM. Don’t you just want to walk in your home after a long day and feel at peace in the calm of your favorite room? Or a tranquil setting that helps you ease your way into the new week and get into a rhythm? I haven’t created a quiet sanctuary in my home, to hide away and drift off yet but I’m certainly dreaming of it.
Aren’t the above images perfectly indicative of CALM? A big stack of blankets, cozy socks with a chai latte, neutral colors and the stillness of nature in the early morning. I love everything about this picture and it’s completely attainable in my home AND YOURS. If I were designing a room here are a few things I’d add to my CALM space.
A cozy Turkish blanket for snuggling up with a good book and a chai latte.
This gorgeous Mirage Gray wallpaper from Graham & Brown. Bringing nature inside always lends a calming effect. It looks like the fog has rolled in on the trees. I absolutely LOVE this wallpaper. It’s worth celebrating!! I also love the lamp and sofa, pretty much this entire image says CALM to me.
Every room could use a relaxing and warming candle. This Juniper Rosewood would work perfectly in my dream sanctuary for creating the calm atmosphere I need.
A big stack of comfy throw pillows to rest on always calms me and makes me feel safe. These Black & Whites are definitely some of my favorites.
What do you think, can you see yourself using wallpaper to create the feeling you long for in your home? What do you want your home to speak to you?
