Hey y’all!
Today I want to talk about gallery walls. To be more exact, TV gallery walls. I showed you all my painted fireplace last week and the gallery/TV wall hanging above it. I love watching TV. Like seriously, we binge watch and mourn shows when they’re over. But I hate the huge TV looming over the living room when it’s NOT on a show I love. Don’t even get me started on the cords I have no idea how to conceal…
This gallery is BORING. It needs an update like yesterday (and some of my frames are still empty lol). I did some searching around and found several inspiring TV Gallery walls and thought I’d share. The position my TV is in is somewhat unique in that instead of space above it there is space below it. We hung it a little too high but didn’t really care enough to lower it. So I put frames under to sort of offset that.
I’d like to minimize the screaming “Here I am!!!” TV and also bring some much needed visual interest to this side of the room. Anyway, here are the inspiration walls I found:

I love all of these walls! What say you? Where is your TV? Do you have a love/hate relationship with it? There is no where else in this room for the TV. The wall to the left of the fireplace is the entrance to our dining room, which is a walk-through to the kitchen. The wall to the right of the fireplace has a ginormous picture window. The wall opposite to the fireplace is another wide window. With all that said, I have to make it work here. I think I can do it though π
Stay tuned because I found an awesome way to disguise the TV even more! Can’t wait to share it!!
SO much inspiration! We haven’t got around to even mounting ours yet, but it will be in a corner beside our fireplace and really hard to decorate around I think … may be coming to you for some ideas! Can’t wait to see what you come up with for yours!!!
TV’s…you can’t live withem, you can’t live without them π
This is a great idea. I have so many fun ideas for my next house π
I love gallery walls!!! These ideas were so much fun to look through!
Love these ideas! I should definitely try to pull something similar off in our bedroom, since our TV is very naked on the wall right now.. hah.
Ooeeey! I can tell that your gallery wall is going to be fantastic! So much gorgeous inspiration and you certainly have a gift for taking that inspiration and bringing it to life! Can’t wait!
So many fun ideas. I have my tv in a hutch for now, but dh wants a bigger one. We will see. π
Leigh Anne, this is such a wonderful post! I have had such a hard time figuring out what to do with my TV wall – this might be the solution! Thank you for sharing!!
Glad it helped you Bre!!
this is a great round-up! I can’t wait to see what you do with yours π
We mourn shows, tooooooo!!! So funny! I love all these options! We’re in the same boat with the TV above the fireplace. It’s on this weird angled wall, and I have no idea what to do with it. These are all great choices!
Haha! We’re a sad bunch when all our fave shows finale lol
Seriously! I thought I’d never recover when Chuck ended! Haha! And that was like three years ago. So very sad. π
I would love for my tv to be over our fireplace, but first we have to completely remodel our fireplace before we can have it up there. I really like all of these options! Can’t wait to see what you pick!
I love your inspiration images! I did this in our master bedroom to minimize the “look at the big black box” appearance too!

I love all of these! Great collection of inspiration ~ can’t wait to see how yours turns out.
As to your cords, perhaps you could staple them at the bottom (on top of the mantel), then paint the ones on the wall the same color as the wall, and the ones on top of the mantel the same white as the mantel. Just a thought, as that way they wouldn’t be quite so obvious. And you could lay the ones on your wall into the grooves on your paneling. Hope you figure something out!
Thanks for the tips Patti!!
You are welcome! Send pictures when you finish!
