Hi there! Hope you had a GREAT Father’s Day weekend. I had a fun time painting the stair wall and hallway (said no one ever) on Saturday and then for Father’s Day we went to Church and then took it easy all day. My daughter also turned 12 yesterday! Wowza! Slow down time!!
Saturday morning before the paint marathon started I whipped up these super easy cheese rolls. This is the easiest recipe and with very minimal ingredients. My favorite kind 😉 I only made 4 rolls because we were also having homemade chicken biscuits. I know, but it was a combined birthday/Father’s day treat. You could easily double the recipe to feed more people. Or for leftovers. Ahem.
Summer Berry Cheese Rolls
1/3 cup sliced Strawberries
1/3 cup Blueberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 can crescent rolls
1 8oz. package of cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. In a medium mixing bowl combine the softened cream cheese with the sugar and vanilla extract.
2. Unroll your crescents and combine two triangles to make a rectangle. Just use your fingers dipped in a little cool water and pinch the seams together. Then place the rectangles on a cookie sheet.
3. Divide the cream cheese and put onto each rectangle then stick both berries inside the cream cheese.
4. Pull the corners up to each other and pinch them together to make little rolls.
Bake on 350 until golden brown. Let cool for about 5 minutes before taking off the pan and serving.
Enjoy!
