Hey Hey friends!! Happy Friday to you. I hope you have an amazing weekend filled will all the things you love!! I have a date with a few projects which sounds like fun to me. I wanted to share my very, very simple Thanksgiving Tablescape with y’all today. Last year I kind of went all out (some might say overboard….) with the table. This year I am craving simplicity so much. That feeling is certainly being reflected in my decor style.
I threw a plaid scarf lengthwise as a makeshift runner. I don’t have any “real” runners and this is because I DO have three kids. This table is where they do their homework every night and then we have dinner here together most nights as well. I’m okay with this. This table is usually bare other than those things because that makes life easy. See simplicity above 😉
Then I added a black and wood ice bucket that I found for less than $1 at a yard sale. Score! Filled it with pine cones and a big leafy fall branch from my backyard. Free fall decor is my spirit animal. I added these DIY candle holders and a couple pumpkins that I wrote “Give Thanks” and “Be Grateful” on. That completed the centerpiece. Took 10 minutes maybe and that included my jaunt into the back yard with kitchen shears in hand to cut a branch.
Next I added my Gold chargers to each place setting along with my White and Gold trimmed dinnerware. Then topped each place setting with a personalized magnolia leaf so everyone would know where to sit. I just used a gold sharpie to do this. Added wine glasses and forgot to put out the flatware, but whatevs I still think it’s perfectly simple and still beautiful and inviting!
Over in the window (that’s WIDE OPEN because even those it’s nearly mid-November it’s still warm here in WV which is definitely unusual!) I added some fresh flowers and a couple of festive pumpkins. If you can believe I got all of the pie pumpkins you see in these photos two days after Halloween completely FREE at my local Kroger. I guess they wanted them gone fast! I took 6 and that was all the restraint I had 😉
I have a little secret to shopping for simple but elegant table Dinnerware. The Dollar Tree!! I know, they have a lot of tacky things but they have a whole collection of golf rimmed dinnerware that is actually so pretty! Below you can shop my Thanksgiving Tablescape yourself. I couldn’t find all of the exact items but I tried to get as close as I could. Enjoy!

I love the idea of writing names on magnolia leaves. So simple, yet so pretty! And such great scores from the Dollar Store and yard sales!
SO pretty! LOVE the gold and that plaid!!! You are so creative to write the place settings on the magnolia leaves!
