Hey there!! It’s Monthly DIY Challenge time. If you’re new around here, Monthly DIY Challenge is just what it sounds like. A group of us bloggers get together once a month, pick an item or theme and go with it. This months challenge was a wreath. Fun!! I decided to have a little fun and make a Santa’s Workshop Wreath.
I started with a quilting hoop for a more modern look. We already have 4, yes 4, greenery wreaths so it was time for a little twist. I also bought a jar kit and a “MERRY” sign, all from Michael’s. I also had some leftover trimmings from our Christmas tree. (Sorry for the terrible cell phone picture! I was working at night. I also wound up not using that little package of extra greens)
I used a small hot glue gun to attach everything. Simple as that really. I couldn’t resist the little gnome Santa and his workshop sign.
I hung the Santa’s Workshop wreath upstairs in our little hallway. It adds just the right amount of whimsy and christmas. Love it!! Have you ever made your own wreath? Are you more of a traditional wreath fan or do you like something more modern? Be sure to check out the other 9 wreaths below for some serious inspiration!!
