Hey Hey! Are you ready to eat some Turkey? Almost? What’s your favorite dish to have on Thanksgiving? Mine is Carrot Souffle, it is DELICIOUS! My 2nd favorite part of Thanksgiving, besides eating myself into a food coma, is decorating the table! I went with lots of Gold plus Black & White, because you, I love it! Gold is where it’s at!!
I’m going to get right to all of the pictures and at the end I’ll list any sources, which there aren’t that many because I mostly had all of this stuff on hand!
I had all intentions of making these gold leafed plastic animals into placecards, but I grew too attached to poke a hole in them for the name cards!
Gaaah!! I LOVE this tablescape, it’s my favorite so far and I’ve set a few before 😉 I’m also super excited about some SUPER cheap finds so here’s a little source list.
Plastic Animals $1 – The Dollar Tree (I bought 6) and I painted them with gold leaf I already had on hand.
Gold Rimmed Tumblers $1 – The Dollar Tree (I bought 6)
Cork Ribbon – $0.50 – Michael’s
Gold Chargers $1 – The Dollar Tree (I bought 6)
Chalkboard Vase $1 – Clearance at Michael’s
Table Runner $1 – Paper Roll from Target Dollar Spot
Dried Hydrangeas FREE! – Borrowed from my Neighbors 😉
Gold Springs $1 – The Dollar Tree (I bought 2 sets)
Everything else I had on hand already. If you see something you want to know about just ask, I love your comments!
I LOVE it all Leigh Anne! All of those pops of gold look gorgeous!! Who knew you could find SO many fabulous gold bargains?! Especially loving those little animals and I think they look perfect without holes … that way you’ll be able to use them in a ton of different ways down the road too! Fabulous my friend!
Thank you Kristi! My 5 year old is in love with the animals too, she begs to play with them. Gold Thanksgiving is sooo my favorite!
Gorgeous!! I love those little animals, they are too cute and I can’t believe you got them at the dollar store! The whole thing is beautiful 🙂 And you might need to share the recipe for Carrot Souffle! I’ve never heard of it and I’m intrigued 😉
Thank you! yes, the Dollar Tree is one of my favorite places. Right now they have some amazing gold Christmas decor I can’t wait to get my hands on! I think I’ll post the Souffle recipe on the blog in a couple weeks, it’s totally a Southern thing but it is FANTASTIC!!
Leign Anne!! Goodness, I just LOVE this table! The gold animals are just perfect and the nail art pumpkins… swooning over here!
