Hey Hey! Valentine’s day is right around the corner! I’ll admit it’s not my favorite holiday with all the pink and frilliness, but I do like to make a gift for my kiddos. This year I made this easy Mason Jar gift with a pourable lid, for all of them to share. Less cavities that way 😉
Did you know grated Parmesan cheese lids fit perfectly onto mason jars? They do!! This red lid is from an Aldi’s grated Parmesan & Romano cheese container. Check it out:
So cool, right? Oh the uses I could use!! For this Valentine’s Day gift, all I did was cut a piece of scrapbook paper to size, stick it in the jar, then fill with candy of your choice (I used Hershey’s Kisses!). Then you just pop on the lid and continue to embellish the jar however you like. I added some red & white twine from the Target $1 spot, some XOXO’s on the lid with a sharpie paint pen and then added red sparkly hearts around the back of the jar.
So cute & fun!
Have you made any Valentine’s gifts this year? Do you love or hate this holiday?
Loving the metallic Love! This makes for such a cute little gift. And loving that it uses wrapped candies since it makes it school friendly, too.
This is seriously the cutest! What a great gift for friends or teachers!
