The Botanical Hand Lettering Workbook
Hi friends! We’re off to a great start in January!! Today I want to share this little workbook with you and I’m giving one away. Be sure to read to the bottom to find out how to enter the giveaway. The botanical hand lettering workbook was so fun to work with.
The Botanical Hand-Lettering Workbook arrived a few weeks ago but with the madness that is Christmas it was put on a back burner. Once I did get around to checking it out, it was so much fun. Both of my daughters (6, 13) have enjoyed the book as well. It teaches you to draw the cutest, whimsical scripts, flowers, terrariums and more.
There are pages through out that show you how to write and draw, step-by-step, then there are extra pages for you to practice on. This works out great to keep all your practice pages in one place. I decided to try my hand at drawing a terrarium. It turned out cute but I definitely need more practice! I just used some watercolor pencils I had on hand. The book does tell you the items you need to get really good at this.
I’ve loved working through the pages of this book. I think it’d be great to incorporate some of the art into a gallery wall, or give as gifts. The book itself would make a great gift for friends or family that might be interested in typography and art. You can order it on Amazon!
Very cool book! I was thinking today I’d like to make an art piece with “You are my sunshine” on it for my daughter.
What a great book would be fun to play with a quote “you complete me”
Thanks for the chance
Love this! I have recently rediscovered the joy of drawing (which I haven’t done much of since high school). This would be a great inspiration and help! And I love the quote ‘Today is a good day for a good day.’ A reminder to start fresh with a sunny outlook!
Jill, you won the giveaway!! Email me at leighanne@houseologie.com with your mailing address and we’ll get the book right out to you 🙂
Love this Leigh Anne!! I’d “try” to make something that said “home is wherever I’m with you” because we played that at our wedding 🙂 Either that or something cheeky.
I want to live in a house by the side of the road and be a friend to man.
I always loved, “I love you to the moon and back”. Mom said that to us as we left for school every year every day. I lost her in July. Mom I love you to the moon and back forever.
Don’t count the days~Make the days count.
