Hey y’all!! I’m definitely a little late with this post. The weather here has been rainy and gross all week, so pictures were hard to get. These aren’t top notch but they’ll do! I just wanted to share our 2015 Advent Calendar with you. I’m not going to do a tutorial unless someone just has to have it. So let me know!
Advent Calendar for 2015
I made this little tree from various size dowels then I made the mountains and trees with balsa and a little paint, so fun, I loved how they turned out! I bought little houses from Michael’s for $1 each and painted those as well. I left a couple raw because I just can’t resist that blonde wood!
I also used a little felt from the craft store, stuffed with paper towels, to make some puffy clouds. And last but not least, I used a round die punch to cut circles from paint chips to use as the calendar numbers.
Every year we have a different calendar but I think this one will stay around for a few years. It’s festive but still minimal and the colors I love. I plan out a little activity ot family time for every day of the month. For this calendar I just taped the activity to the back. My kiddos love checking it every day!
Do you have an Advent Calendar? Do you buy it or make your own?
How cute is that?!
Thanks Kelley, we love it! The kiddos are having a great time with it!!
So adorable! Love the basket–completes the whole look.
Thanks Kristie!!
