Gold Stenciled Mugs

Hey Hey! I’ve been in a crafting frenzy because, Christmas. I LOVE me some Christmas!! Duh, right?! Well I decided to stencil some mugs as a gift for my son’s teacher and I’m going to share how I did it with y’all today.

Sharpie Paint Pen Mugs1Last week I shared the Winter Survival Kit for his teacher that I made. I added these stenciled mugs to that gift so she would have something special to drink her hot chocolate from.

Happy Friday!!!  I couldn’t possibly be more excited to be here guest posting on Houseologie today!!!  If we haven’t had the pleasure of “meeting” yet, I’m Kristi, the gal behind making it in the mountains, where I blog about my journey to make our builder-basic home a rustic mountain retreat.

I’ve been working hard to cozy my home up for the holidays these past few weeks tackling as many projects as I possibly can! Though, it would seem I’ve got more ideas than time (isn’t that true for SO many of us this time of year?!), I have managed to make these gorgeous Glass Glitter Pine Cones and this rustic pallet wood Christmas Card Tree!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Hey friends! Hope you are enjoying December! We’ve had the plague around here but everyone is starting to feel better now. I think I need a maid though, any takers? I can pay you in cups of hot chocolate? ;-)

clear_ornament_challenge

As you can tell it’s Monthly DIY Challenge time! My friends and I have come together to bring you some adorable projects using clean Christmas ornaments. If you aren’t familiar with this challenge, once a month we pick an item to work with and set to parameters on what we can do with that one item. Here’s what I came up with.

Clean Rooms = Epic Makeovers

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #EurekaPower #CollectiveBias

Hey friends! Have you ever walked into a room that you hate, let out a big sigh, walked out and closed the doors behind you? If I’m being honest I have more than one room I do that to (I mean, I have a 12 year old daughter ;-) ). However, my laundry room is THE WORST! It was such a mess. I’ve got the pictures to prove it too, but don’t worry I got this room super clean by vacuuming every square inch!

12 Posts of Christmas – Cable Spool Tree Stand

Hey Hey! I’ve got a funny story for y’all today. I bought a faux Christmas Tree from someone on Facebook. I know you’re laughing but I I thought it would be a good idea. I’m cheap, like really, really cheap. In my area (and probably yours too!) there are local Facebook yardsale type groups where people sell their stuff. There are definitely good finds to be had and I’ve been known to make a few bucks from selling things.
